I'm trying to get an effect of myself graphically jumping in the water.. the "camera" is under the surface of the water.. i have silhouetted footage of myself but i would like to add a graphic treatment to give extra life..

Ideally, i would like to get the effect of ink droplets into water.. but i dont have time/equipment to shoot that.. i was wondering if there is a plugin (Trapcode FORM/PARTICULAR??) which will give the effect?? or maybe there is a site to get Stock footage of ink into water?

Please send any info! THANX!
 
All you would need is a camera, ink and a clear fish tank or jug or anything big enough to get a good shot.

Or are you looking for a Stargate effect with the splash heading towards the camera?

I second the vote for the Video Copilot Riot Gear package.
Andrew shot the ink in a tank on a white background and has a ton of perfect premultipled clips of exactly what you want.

For the price of a couple of clips from a stock footage place you get a LIBRARY of stock footage that is cleaned up, processed and premultiplied so it is already set up to use in AE or premiere. It comes with a whole library of black ink in a tank, smoke mattes, television noise/static/splatter droplets as well as a library of high res and low res grunge textur. Great as a toolkit of elements if you don't have the facilities to shoot stuff like that.
