lip sync problems...

I shot some footage in 24pa on the dvx100a and when I capture in FCP the lip sync is off. My sequence presets are 48khz/23.98 and capture settings are set for advanced pulldown 2:3:3:2. When I put the sequence in the timeline it needs to be rendered. I thought it might be a problem with using an external monitor, but the issue persists without monitor... Any thoughts?

Double check your camera, be extra sure you didn't record your sound at the lower sound sampling rate.
 
Make sure that audio playback follows video. If you're using a FW device to monitor video then you need to use the same device for audio (not built in) or the sync will be off. Use the browser it will tell you what the disparity is between your footage and the sequence. Good Luck.
