Linux P2 Card Reader

I just stumbled on this product:

http://www.amtron.com/reader/p2card_reader.htm

It claims to be a P2 card reader that works with Linux. Does this mean there are drivers available somewhere that would allow the reading of P2 cards from a standard PCMCIA slot? Anyone have experience with this card reader? I would love to be able to dump my cards using my linux machine if possible.

I've been working on the problem of using P2 with Linux off and on for months now. Sadlly, while these readers might work with the P2 cards, you'd still need driver support within Linux in order for the OS to be able to mount them. Since not such driver exists at this time, there's not much for us to do.

I currently offload my P2 cards to my Linux notebook by using the camera as a card reader in USB device mode. Works well, but it does tie up the camera while you transfer the files.
