Links to live coverage of November 3rd Announcements?

Anyone have direct links to share of live coverage or twitter or whatever for the Canon and Red announcements today?

The only one I've got at the moment is the Planet5D coverage of the Canon event at:

I think I read somewhere that reduser.net will have something for Red. I haven't been there since two or so years ago when people were waiting for Scarlet. Any info or direct links?

Thanks.

You'd think in this day and age a live video stream would be a given. After all...it's a "Historical Worldwide Announcement". Hardly a worldwide announcement if it's only accessible to those who drag themselves along.

More like "A Historical Announcement that will make it's way worldwide via people's blogs and the usual news channels" lol

;)

I agree they need a live stream at all these types of things. That being said; forums, blogs, websites and the usual internet outlets get people talking more and spread the news to a larger demographic than it would be if it was just the interested parties tuning in.

Example: People that check out engadget but don't care about new cameras wouldn't tune in to a live stream, but because they care about other electronics and frequent the engadget site, they'll now be shown, and possibly click on and check out, the new canon product. "Price check on isle BOOM!?"

So is this Canon going to be the NHK Super High Vision 8K camera that the BBC is going to use for the 2012 Olympics?

AVID Media Composer 6 - look much like PremierePro now and can finally do the same things.

Thank you for posting. I have been anticipating the announcement of MC 6 since it was first brought up this summer, but had I really didn't have much of an idea when it was going to be announced. Really stoked to see that.
AVCHD via AMA will make my workflow a lot quicker, so thats a biggie for me. The 64 bit upgrade is obviously one of the biggest things as well.

I just hope they kept their impossible to pass up student deal ($300 for the software plus 4 free years of upgrades).
