Links and/or suggestions for inappropriate wardrobe to shoot video

I have been asked to write a short memo about "appropriate attire" to wear for a industrial training video shoot. Although I am aware of a few things one shouldn't wear due to what it would look like on video (i.e. a herringbone suit which makes a very small pattern), I don't know that much on appropriate attire.

I've tried doing some searches on various search engines (i.e. Google, Lycos, etc), but I do not get anything close to what I'm looking for. Since I don't know much about the subject, I'm incognizant about performing a proper search.

Here's some information I can give you:

1) We are only shooting 1 talent (female, 35-50 years old) in an office setting
2) The talent is a doctor and might request on wearing a white lab coat on top of the wardrobe in question.
3) Lighting will be majority the lighting provided in the office, but we have posession of a light kit if needed.

I would greatly appreciate any advice on what wardrobe one should and should not wear. Written suggestions or internet links will be fine, as my memo is supposed to be less than 1 page.

My thanks in advance

I would stay away from anything from the 30s. That stuff is never coming back in style. Sad, but true. The grunge period too from the 90s is out because its still too recent.
