Linking Help

I know how to link a clip, but for some reason it is not working in one of my sequences. I select the clips that I want to link and it will not link them. The command works fine with other sequences within the project, just not the one that I need it to. I have made sure that the linked selection button is on and it still is not working. The line under the clip name indicating the linking never shows up. The Modify-> Link button is greyed out even when the stereo pair and the video clip is selected. Any help is appreciated.

Sorry, unable to duplicate this. But you can link these exact same two clips inside other Sequences?

Check these conditions in order:
Check the Track Auto-Select buttons for those tracks are turned on.
Make sure neither clip has Clip Enable turned off.
Make sure no tracks are locked.
Make sure both tracks have their visibility turned on.
