Linked Quicktime Exports (under 2gb)

Someone told me about this feature in Premier where you could take a timeline and upon export you could set it up so that no one quicktime file is larger than, say 2gb's. So it would export as however many linked files under 2gb's till full picture was complete.
I'm mixing a project and in order for the mixer to project it off a quicktime file it needs to be under 2gb's. Getting my entire 104 minute project to be under 2gb's (and it still needs to be at 720x480) is not easy (or possible) -- so this feature would come in handy. I've never seen anything of the sorts w/ FCP but if anyone knows let me know.
THANKS

Are you referring to making "chapter markers" on the timeline -- then somehow working that into an Export Setting to export only a chapter at a time? Is there a way to do that?? I have broken my full-length qt into reels but that's tricky cause it takes a while to find the right length/size/quality to meet the 2gb restriction.

My question is why is there a 2Gig limit on file sizes to have audio mixed? Just off the bat, is sounds like an odd requirement.

They use a program to digitze the media up for the projector and in sync with the mixing boards with Pro Tools. The program (virtual vtr) can only project files under 2gb's (probably because they are still on OS9!) Normally they digitize off a tape to Motion Jpeg A, but I'm making my own files to save the expense of making a tape. Through trial and error I've found a certain length I can go with the JpegA compressor at around 480x320
