Usually I can figure out code. When I look at the source of these pages
the codes are written in <> which of course, I can do that. When we
upload pictures the code is in [] okay, don't know that.

What I am trying to do, which so many of you have mastered, is to put a
link to my banner. You click the banner, bam, you go somewhere else.

Sounds simple, huh? Well, it is if you know the (bleeeping) code. Gah.
Gah! GAH!

the [] code is explained on this site. If you look below you should see in the posting rules it says code is on(or off). Click on [img] it will lead you to the codes.

I just tried to show you exactly how the code should look, but it won't show up(probably because it is trying to read the code.)

Under the images part on the codes, the second code with the [url and [img is how your code should look.

Because I respect your clever marketing ploy to get your film noticed in the cafe ... I will be a party to it.

1) Copy the link that you want the banner to link to.

2) toggle the little "A" big "A" button in the upperright corner so that you see code.
3) now click the Globe/Link button and the link will appear in code.
4) a portion of the code will already be higlighted. This higlighted part is the part that appears when the code is not visibile. You are going to replace that part with an image.
5) so leaving that text higlighted, copy the URL or image location for your banner in a NEW WINDOW
6) now go back to the old window, and CLICK THE IMAGE BUTTON (or mountain and sun button) and it will replace the higlighted text with your image.

your code should look like this before you change it to have an image

and it should look like this after you replace the url text with the image

and ultimately you get this
