Worked on a project recently doing effects, so I of course worked in a linear colorspace to get the best image. I've worked linear before on my own projects but on this one I needed to do some back-and-forth with the editor who was working in Premiere. Moving the AE comps into Premiere made the linear color space go away so all colors are off. Is there any way to fix this? Looked around and it seems Premiere works in YUV and not RGB so I don't think so, just wanted a definitive answer.
Also noticed the same thing with Adobe Media Encoder, which doesn't seem to get the data that it is in linear color space. Any way to fix it in AME?
And if they can't render out linear correctly does that mean my only options are to work in AE last in my workflow or render out the footage in high quality and import that into Premiere/Media encoder? If AE handled audio better this wouldn't be such a hassle, but lining up effects with sound is now a pain.
Thanks for any help
