Line text for guitar tablature

[lix8]

Hello everyone,
I'm struggling here...

I'm trying to get the simple effect of having this lined up. Every character occupying same area equally.
To create a video with tablature... It will be hard to due, but I only need to know how I can line the text...
Like here:

Any light on this?

Ahá! I finally find a way to achieve this effect by simple using Monospaced fonts! Didn't even knew that it existed...
