Hey All,
So editing a feature. One a mac book pro, with 23" Apple cinema display. FCP 5.1.4.
Footage From HVX202.
So we've edited everything and in DVCPRO-HD it all looks dandy. When Exported out to the sheer codec, we have a couple of scenes that have sky scrapers in the background and they get really bad line moireing on the windows (the windows look like ther all moving up and down.
Now when i view the footage on my Cinema Display, either in the viewer or Digital cinema Desktop, this happens. But when i view it on the 15"Laptop screen it doesnt...
Then i export it to DVD (on a lowish compression setting (150min fast encode in compressor) and we have the moiring.
So, Any idea's? Is there a way to get rid of the moiring because its kinda crap. Is it just the monitor/TV? Is there any way to ensure that this doesnt happen?
