Like opal but quiet?

Looking to get a very light diffusion - like opal but without the noise. Silk kills too much light for the specific diffusion effect. Any ideas?

Yes, like noise in the wind. What the trick you speak of?

GnE brothers out here usually take a solo cup or something similar and place the open face of the cup against the 4x4 skinned frame of diffusion and then they take a strip of 1" gaff tape and tightly tape from one side of the 4x4, across the bottom of the cup and to the other side, kind of like a suspension bridge. Keeps the slack of the diffusion extra taught and thus won't make noise in moderate to mild wind. I wish I had a pic to show.

I see. Thanks!

Try 252. Exactly the same diffusion characteristics, but a much tougher gel. A lot harder to rip as well.
