Like Kathleen Turner in Body Heat, I might be "Out of touch..."

I try to stay current on what and how people use the language. Lately I've heard some people use "Damn" as a noun instead of as an adjective. I've always used "Damn" as in "The damn Lakers should never have traded Shaq..." But the other day I heard it used as a noun, as in "That Shaq, he's a bit of a damn."

What's going on here? It's a noun now?

I've never heard that construction before. Based on one instance I don't think it's safe to infer that it's a new form of slang. Just someone speaking imprecisely.
