The fulll non Betaversion of lightworks is now available. There is a free version and a full version which includes a lot of extra codecs; it is $60 a year. I am still waiting for the Mac version.

Been playing a bit with the Beta version over the last year. I like it a lot, but it is a rich and complex program with a significant learning curve. Biggest advantage IMO is the ability to ingest, mix and edit multiple different formats and codecs on the timeline. No transcoding needed until you are ready to export the finished project in its final format. Looking forward to trying the full version when I build my new editing workstation this summer.
 
Version 10 was the Beta version 11 which is current i think is not , but for the last 2 days i have been tiring to down load the program from the site but still no joy the program ends up corrupted on my side.I so want to try it on a another pc we have spare.

Version 11 is quite a bit different from the Beta version - it has full drag and drop capabilities for example.

The server at www.lwks.com was so busy yesterday that your download might have been corrupted. Quite a few people had to try several times. It isn't much quieter now (tens of thousands have downloaded it in the first 24 hours!) but most people are managing. There's an element of luck in it when the server is so busy, I'm afraid!
