Lightworks version V2022.3 is now released for Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems. Audio has received most of the attention in this release.

Apart from integration with the IOGates REACT product ( https://site.iogates.com/features/ ) for securely sharing, receiving & reviewing video content in the cloud. V2022.3 includes 200 Free tracks from epidemic sound, Quick FX templates for dialogue and music, improved audio plugin support and new audio controls.

Note that a Create or Pro license will be required for some features.

More details here: https://lwks.com/lightworks-22-3-sounds-great-biggest-audio-update-ever/

There are also new video tutorials on using these audio features.

There are three license options with Lightworks, the Free, Create or Pro. Create is focused on social media and exports up to 4k mp4, while Pro offers the full range of features.

You can have a monthly or annual subscription or an outright license with the Create or the Pro license.

If you've got a free license (restricted to 720p) you can upgrade to either of the other licenses with a subscription and then cancel the roll over, so that when the Create or Pro license expires Lightworks reverts to the Free license. Many free users do this so that they have the full range of export options for projects that require a high resolution export.

With the free license you just have to log in every 90 days.

Lightworks is very flexible.

I bought a couple perpetual licenses of Lightworks Pro. Haven't done any big jobs with it yet, but seems like a really good value. Came with a bunch of NewBlueFX plugins too.
As I wean myself off of Adobe CS6, Lightworks might become my replacement. Yet to be seen

Looking forward to hearing more.
