Lightworks for Mac Beta version released today

The beta version of Lightworks v12 NLE for Mac OSX 10.8 and 10.9 was released today. Free download and pro trial license with site registration. They want feedback from Beta testers. Give it a try!

Well, I download it, import 5 proress 1080 files and try to play it, onto a MBP 7,1 (old machine, yes). It crashed after a short and choppy playback. Is just a beta, I know, but, man, I was waiting forever for this one

They say specifically that it requires OSX 10.8 or 10.9.
 
Working fine for me. I've loaded up ProResHQ, XDCamEX, DPX 10 bit. Will be trying some other stuff soon. Running Mavericks on a 2012 iMac and 2012 MBP. This is a FAR CRY from the abomination that I download in 2012 when that alpha they called a beta was released.
