Hello!

I am wanting to invest in some lighting equipment. I will be doing action films and possible horror films. Also, some night stuff. What should I get? Thanks!
 
You should get a couple of 5k HMI's, a whole selection of tugnsten lights. 300's, 650's, 1k's, 2k's, 5k's, 10k's, some kinoflo's, about a dozen or so c-stands, an assortment of clamps, flags, cutters, butterfly silks, distro boxes, gels, frames, sandbags, etc. etc. oh and a five ton truck to carry it all.
If that's blown your films budget, then you could start by doing a search and also reading the sticky at the top of this section.
