Lights rental in NYC?

[soren k jensen]

I'll be shooting a music documentary in NYC in August-September on HPX171 / HVX200a. Need to rent a few different lighting setups. Can anyone recommend a trustworthy yet not too expensive rental company in the NYC area?

Not too expensive and NYC don't really go together. What kind of setups are you looking for? It might be better to contact a local filmmaker who rents, rather than a rental company.

I have used www.elefantfilms.com in the past. Decent rates, decent equipment. Shoot me an e-mail and I'll see if I have any specifics that can help you.

I always recommend Eastern Effects... www.easterneffects.com
