lightning strikes

[Mino]

focus not brilliant (50 year old eyes and darkness...blah!) but I thought these kightning shots were kind of cool

[Rosestar]

way cool. I love storms.

[BLUESPIDER]

Mino, did you shoot this 24p or regular 30? It's mother nature being a *****! Neat stuff man!

[Pais]

Those first and last ones are especially cool ...

[theos]

Nice . . . you expect to see the batman logo in the clouds

[Mino]

Thanks...We don't get much lightning in Vancouver so it was a treat....Thanks Mom (nature that is) 24p full screen, shutter 1/24....Just threw up the cam and used the settings I had going before, didn't want to miss even ONE strike!

before and after, one frame apart

[Young-H._Lee]

thanks for sharing, lightning is always an amazing sight to behold

[J.R. Hudson]

Kind of cool?

These are wonderful Blue! Wow. Gorgeous colors.

[Kirk Gillock]

Mino, those look great. Did you use the Lightning Plug-in in After Effects? Seriously, those are some cool shots. The skyline makes it even cooler looking. Mother Nature rules!!!

[craigbowman]

The sheet lightning in last flash was literally bright enough to see that the roof across the way has a park on it with grass and trees rather than ashphalt and gravel! Now that was tres cool! Mother nature, reveals some nature!

[GenJerDan]

focus not brilliant (50 year old eyes and darkness...blah!)

If you have to set the focus to anything other than infinity, THE LIGHTNING IS TOO DAMN CLOSE!

Wow mino, nice. You're 50?? You look so young. Was that pic of you taken when you were younger??

[Staven]

Safe to assume you took these last night(Thursday)?

Pretty sweet grabs. The rain and hail that accompanied it was quite impressive also.
