I have a pretty simple question for those who own and use their 35mm adapters for projects which require lighting. How much, if any, does shooting with an adapter change your approach to lighting? I'm curious for one primary reason. That is, do you find that you need substantially higher light levels to afford you the desired Depth of Field (instead of shooting wide open on your lens and getting razor thin DOF)? This would be more applicable to indoor setups I suppose, but could also apply to exterior situations as well. If it has changed your approach, how?
Right now I primarily use my HVX, but from time to time I also shoot 16mm and 35mm. I find that shooting a 500ASA film stock in interior situations is more lenient than the naked HVX (~320ASA) and as such allows me to selectively consider what my DOF will be. I don't own an adapter and I'm looking forward to trying some out. I don't imagine the step would be huge, but I'm more curious about personal revelations/approaches to shooting in this way. Thanks.
I apologize if this has been covered significantly elsewhere, I searched and browsed without success before posting.
