I have done about 4 seminars and seems all have been pretty bad (as far as lighting goes). There is just one more left and I'd like to put all we an into this one.

I ran across this video does ANYONE know where the piping and background layout can be either rented or purchased if so please provide a link -

Looks like custom truss work, blue dyed muslin (or maybe just white) with blue and white stage lights on it through a cucaloris or gobo. Not bad, but I bet they spent more than a few dollars on it!
 
Yep they are using some tritube truss and then some kind of muslim attached to it.

This kind of structures can be laid on the ground or hang from some strong crank towers, something like this.

those are just two different examples as trusses are highly customizable (you can find diferent corners, curved truss.....).

And as Perrone said they aren't cheap....I have two crank towers and 4meters of two tube truss and it costed me $$$....
