I have recently seen some videos where they lit from a boom pole and followed the character around. How exactly do you mount the light and what kind of light do you recommend for this kind of work? LED panels maybe? Any information about this would be great!
For the moonlit scenes in A Strange Confession (link) I used a coollights.biz LED256 with diffusion on the end of a boom pole. One of the grips walked with the actress so that it became fake portable moonlight during our day-for-night shots which we shot at dusk.
