Lighting Literature Recommendations (Needed)

Guys,

Well, now I'm a registered user, even if I don't actually own a DVX yet (soon, however).

I just want to know your opinions on the best Lighting books available. Any input would be appreciated.

the author writes a column, i think it is in dv magazine.

New in 2nd edition, as listed on front cover: "Interview setups, lighting low-budget locations, color perception issues."

Excellent! I have the first edition and I credit that for most of my lighting knowledge (that and experience). It looks like I'll be buying this one too.

well i bought the 2nd edition and someone gave me the first edition as a gift (i hate bookstores that have out of date books, you can still find premiere 5.# books!)

its brand new, i should sell it really really cheap to someone who wants it. i can't see any huge difference and the libraries don't want donations of books that obscure.

Just a tip for anyone who does not own the book. You can recieve emails from them about lighting stuff. just send a blank email to lighting@news.cmpbooks.com

I highly suggest you pick up this book.
