I am looking for an affordable lighting kit.

This is really cheap for 2 sets, but I've only used the ones with barn doors (like britek lights) which has halogen bulbs I believe.
With this you can fit 500W or 250W incandescent 3200K light bulbs.
So my question is, how are they? are they as good as halogen bulbs?
I will mainly be shooting shorts indoor/outdoor, mostly small spaces.
