Lighting Interior Van Day

We have a scene that takes place inside a passenger van - DAY. I want my actors to be exposed properly, but I don't want the background to be blown out. Would tinted windows help? HMI? Kino car kit?

Remember, tinting the windows will definitely lower the outside exposure, but you would also be killing much of the natural light hat would illuminate your actors. You could definitely try it, but what most do is attach some sort of hmi to the front of the car, either by a car toeing the subjects car with an hmi attached to some sort of a trailer, or you could get away with using some bounce boards.

Those litepanels would also do the trick.

Thanks Papa. I'm going to try to tint all the windows, then roll down the windows on the side I'm not shooting, and open the side and back doors, so light can flood in, then use bounce to try to bring the actors up. I think this will work.
