Lighting for wedding and general video lighting

Hello, I have been shooting wedding videos for some time now, but have not baught any lighting yet. I'm considering purchasing some, but I"m not sure what to get. I"d like to get an on camera light and also a nice camra kit that consist of a key, back, fill. I would like the light to be of a mid range quality at least, but not too expensive. The most important thing isthat they deliver.

Lighting a wedding is a tough thing to do and a big ask as your probably aware. The best thing to do is use an on camera (if your solo). Make sure you have some CTB and CTO to match existing light colouring. For solid wireless lavs that wont break the bank you cant go past the G2 from sennheiser. Check the audio forum its been discussed many times. Needless to say its perfect for this and even with a little post tweaking is pretty solid on most jobs I have found.

I'm not so sure you need lights for this type of stuff. You always end up ticking someone off at the reception and some churches may not allow it either.I have a dvx100a and I have had no problems with low light. I like to use the dj's colored lights as the dancing goes on and capture stuff without being really noticed.

i know most churchs wont let you turn on a lite and party halls are always dark but if a lite is not allowed you can always try a reflector to bounce the existing lites in your favor.
