Lighting for my converted garage

I'm converting my 1 car garage into a a storage space for my camera gear. Plan is to have shelving on the sides and husky type workbench in the middle. I'm going to insulate the walls and put down flooring and HVAC. I am thinking to mount a few 2x4 LED daylight panel like this:

Thought I'd get a few alterative lighting ideas from the experts before making a final decision on anything. What kind of lighting would you put?

I assume you're going to have a drop ceiling in there because that’s what these are made for. They will spit out a lot of flat overhead light. I would suggest getting a warmer color temp version (3000K) so that it’s less stark at night. I would also suggest some additional task lighting to help you see when you’re working on something specific. You’ll want to run power to your workbench anyway, so a table lamp there would make sense. I’d probably make it an LED on a gooseneck or something equally adjustable that I can point at my work as needed. I have several of these inexpensive IKEA LED lights that are great for this.

You don’t say if u want to shoot anything there?

My cave is top lit and hard to see what is on the shelves.

Going really fancy u could put downlighting in the shelves

I dont plan on shooting anything in there. I plan to have the panels down tbe center so that it can top light the workbench and also spill onto the shelving along the side walls. It’s diffused light so it should light everything up enough. In terms of the color temperature, i was going with daylight so that Things wouldnt looks yellow especially when there is daylight spilling in fron the garage door. Not sure i care about blue light keeping me awake since anyway I only plan on working there when i’m working, not when I’m about to go to sleep...in fact I should be awake. It’s not where I plan on doing my late night editing.
