Hey filmie's,
Im not too familiar with the terminology here so I do apologize if theres some really simple and obvious name for the thing Im after but hey, the only stupid questions are those that are not asked, right :beer: Basicly Im in need of some kind of lighting stand...
The kind of lighting stand Im looking for is one with a variety of grips or perhaps adjustable angle's. Im interested in getting this kind of stand to grip bounce cards or and diffusers onto.
A friend and I are; at the moment, looking for cheap lighting alternatives. We have recently got a 500 watt Tunsten light (Huge bugger on a stand :thumbup
and are trying to diffuse the light a bit for softer lighting set ups. We dont have enough people involved in our projects to hold bounce cards, reflectors and diffusion etc so a stand like this would be very, very helpfull to us. Maybe a few. Infact 'lighting stand' is wrong, I guess what Im looking for is a diffusion/card grip...thing...jesus
Ive seen them alot, here and about in various lighting kits and google images lol but I have no idea of their name.
At the moment we are thinking; Tripods with big sticks ducktaped to them but, obviously, Im open to any suggestions :huh:
