Lighting an Office

I am shooting a short film, part of which takes place in an office.

My first thought was to turn off the overhead flourescents and light the scene with my own kit.

But now I'm wondering if I should just replace the overhead lights with 3000k tubes and use that as my fill, and just add my own key and back lights.

Anyone had experience with this situation -- mixing practical flourescents with tungsten video lights? Any advice or caveats?

You can also gel your lights and any windows to match the flourescents, that way everything's green and you just remove it in post.

It depends on how large of an area you're working in and how many bulbs you need to replace.

You could also gel the flourecent lights, given that they're not in the shots.
