Hey all!
Me and some friends are doin a short film as an exam projekt, and my main part of this project is the light!

So im gonna use this thread for several questions while working on this project, and hopefully u all can help us make an awesome production :)

and as it is a low budget film, pls give som tips and tricks for nice&cheap solutions ;)

We´re gonna work alot with greenscreen both out and indoors, I do believe that i dont need much light for the greenscreen outdoors during daytime, but for the actors what kind of light should I work with`? is it good enough to bounce the light as a fill light?
We dont have the budget to bring out HMI lightnig hehe..
Should I construct a light ramp wich will act as the sun(key light) maybe?

The film takes place in a snowy Svalbard btw

thats what i can think of now, there will be more questions, we´ve just started with the project :)

Yeah well thats a "term" I´ve learned here at school, just say that i put some lights close too each other, like 4 fresnels in a row .. or 2 on 2 like a box.
Its probally a term for lightning events like theater or live bands, or just a swedish term hehe

That was just a thought I had to get a stronger lightsource outside anyways, since i can get som fresnels from school :)
