Anyone know where this picture was taken? It looks like a great location for a film I'm planning. I found it on the Brooks site, so I'm thinking its it Cali.

Thanks

Its hard to pinpoint if thats the highway 1 coast due to the photoshopping. But there are 3 or 4 that i see on the way to santa cruz that are very similar. Be warned that highway 1 is closed from pacifica side, so youd have to take the 280 down to Halfmoon Bay and cross over there.

Thanks, I'll check that out.

Also, due to the storyline of the film, the most secluded location we can find would be the best. Can you suggest a very secluded lighthouse in the area you were mentioning?

After a little more searching, I almost posotive I found it- too bad its as far north as it is.

Well I'm actaully getting Lightwave tommorow(btw, if your a student you can get it for $600 off at academicsuperstore.com):) - so thats covered.
But, the whole film actaully takes place at or near the lighthouse.

Also- I think I've just found my location. It's a lighthouse on Anacapa island, which I can get access to. Now I just gotta wait until spring for the island to look a little nicer.

Speaking of 3d apps- If I can either get maya for $400 or Lightwave for $200, which do you suggest that I get? I've sort of settled on lightwave because I like the interface and I also hear that maya is very hard to learn. And being 15 yrs. old, in HS, makes it hard to sit around all day in order to learn it.
