Hello guys, I need to test the light temperature around churches before i make the right decision on what camera to buy to avoid contrast and noise to the footages. Is there any way I could do this?

My grid I’m going to be using are natural light and candle light so whatever grid is ticked with the most votes, I’m then going to get the camera suitable for these kind of lighting without using any lights, or having to have any contrast and noise. (also good quality :D )

I hope I explained this okay!

Thanks :dankk2:

I'm not sure exactly what you mean. Any prosumer camera can white balance which would clear up any light temperature issues. If you're wanting the best low-light performer, sony pd170 typically gets very high marks for sd. Don't know about HD cameras, but typically they will have a natural tendency to require a little more light by virtue of a sensor that requires more "information." Myself, I wouldn't consider any camera without 24p, though, unless maybe I was a sports videographer. No, not even then - I could use 60i for action shots and 24p for everything else.

well, i'm going to be filming weddings soon so i want a camera which doesn't contain to much contrast and noise in low light. so i thought i'd try different ways of testing out cameras without having to buy them and spending all my money first.
whats the differents to 24p and 60i? is 60i good for slowmotion and 24p good for low light?
