Light Ray Effect Final Cut Pro

Does anyone know how to do the light ray effects at 1:25-1:35



any help is very appreciated

Duplicate the video onto a new track above the original. Change composite mode to screen. Apply a directional blur or multiple wind blurs to that track. Play with the settings until it looks good. You may even want to put a luma key on this layer to not blur everything, just the highlights.

that gave me something kind of like it...but not as defined as in that video

You will need to play with the settings to get the look you want. You can always double up the overlay layers on top of each other if you need it to be stronger.
