Light kit for EX-1 in studio and more?

I am new to the lighting scene and have a question... I just purchased the Ex1 and would like to buy a Lighting Kit like the Arri D5 kit. Any conflict with the rolling shutter problem that I need to keep in mind that Barry is talking about when purchasing lights?

The EX1 light issue is going to be related to magnetic ballast lights. That will include certain (but not all) HMI and fluorescent lights.

Tungsten lighting really shouldn't show any issues on a rolling-shutter camera, in general.

Thanks for the response Barry. I will order the lights soon. Tomorrow I will dig in and learn the next step in my journey as a DP. My EX 1 showed up.
