Light Case?

So, now that my Arri 650 is fixed, I'm looking to pick up an Arri (or similar) 300 and a Mole Richardson 200 to work as fill, hair and background lighting for my Diva 400. While I'm on the hunt for some good used deals, I was wondering what you all used to cart your kit around?

I don't particularly care for Arri cases. They're a bit unwieldy and super bulky. I don't mind so much if the stands don't fit. I might buy an additional soft case for those since I'm purchasing everything ala-carte anyway.

I was thinking about picking up a Pelican case but was unsure what would be big enough for those three (and possibly a 4th) light.

Anybody have any suggestions on what works for them?

I use a Lowel LB-35 Large Litebag Soft Case for my lighting units. I put 3 OmniLights, a 2" fresnel spot, a Rifa55, and a couple umbrellas in it. It has enough padding that I'm confident putting it in the trunk of my car. But I wouldn't trust it to an airline.
I use an unpadded canvas bag for the light stands.

But I wouldn't trust it to an airline.

So far, I haven't flown with lighting. I've rented in whatever city and flown with cameras only. There's not much I would trust to airlines checked baggage. I've seen how they 'handle' those things.

While I use milk crates on my truck, I do have a large Storm Case which houses some of my smaller tungsten lights along with their scrims and barn doors.

I use a The 511tactical Outbound for gear and personal belongings via land and air travel. It's primarily a SWAT bag but it's so much better and lighter than photo/video luggage. you just need to be sure to pack each light in it's own padded cube and your are good to go. obviously, incan bulbs have travel in small pelicans.
Un-noted in the link, this 10040 cubic inch monster weighs 19Lbs empty. That's very lightweight compared to Pelicans of the same volume capacity.
The thing i love most about this is that my clothes and personal stuff are packed in a lower compartment and around the outside pockets. Obviously, if I go over the TSA limits, I (read... the Client) have to pay the penalty.
