Libec Zoom Control

I also would like to know opinions on this zoom controller. Its the cheapest zoom controller out there but i have an idea to get a sweet little zoom/iris/focus setup goin and if i can get this for $100 and its decent i'll be all set.
 
I've had one of these controllers for about two months now, and have used it on a DVX and DVC-30. The device rocker allows smooth zooming both in and out. All in all, a decent value for the money.

The best thing about it is that it supports both the panasonic interface and the LANC interface, which makes it work with all cameras. unlike the more expensive controllers that only support one or the other.
 
I've been using a Libec since last July. Can't go wrong for $100, although my first one was defective. I'm sure the factory spits out a dud every now and then, but that's why they offer warranties. I love mine. I use it on both my Spider Brace 2 should brace and my tripod. For $100 each, I should have a Libec on both!

sweet, i'm getting one. Gonna go with a varizoom focus/iris controller for one hand and the libec zoom on the other. So for under $300 i'll have full remote control! Thanks for the replies!
 
was going to get the manfrotto one but for half the price...
currently using it on the figrig, works fine...
i did have to replace it though because on the first one, the cable input broke off...
other than that, works great. smooth zooms, etc.
a good value indeed.
