Libec H38 Fluid Head for DVX100A

Anyone ever used this head for the Libec H38 head for the dvx100a?

I think the DVX many be a bit light for the head. I have heard it works well for the HVX, but that one weighs quite a bit more. It seems like most of the quality heads are made to function with the larger cameras, and those made for lighter cameras lack quality motion.

I am looking for smooth pans on top of some miller legs, and also to be used with my kessler crane.

Thanks

Same question! I don't think I can find anyone who has used this head. Wanted to know if it would work at all with a 35mm adapter rig if needed as well.

I use it on an HVX and I love it. For the price its simply outstanding. I think it would be happier with a bit weight than the hvx alone, as the counterbalance is just a hair strong to me. Not sure if I 35mm adapter, rails, etc. would be too much though. The Libec sales rep in the US is Tom Menke though, mattphx@aol.com, or call him at 310-787-9400. Really nice guy that helped me with some shipping problems I had when ordering mine. He might be able to answer more specific questions about the optimum weight. There's also the H55(?) that is the next step up in size.
