Howdy folks,

For big productions I go the whole nine yards with liability insurance etc. However, for small projects (short stuff for competitions etc) I have never bothered. Does anyone know if I can get liability and vehicle insurance for a one day shoot? Some very important aspects of my current short film project hinge on this stipulation, so any advice is appreciated. My normal insurance company does not offer this.

To answer myself, apparently you CAN get short-term general liability for productions... so I've submitted for quotes.

Any ideas on the ballpark costs for a one-day shoot?
