Trying to think, short of ordering from Lowel, how to replace the cylindrical glass protector for my V-Lights. One of them got bumped in shipping, and with customs and the hassle of UPS, I would just rather source something locally. The tube is 4" long, maybe an 1" diameter. The busted one still fits, but the crack is almost complete, I could see a good knock shattering it, with little glass bits in my kit.. guess I'll keep it in a bag.
Bought a Jet Set from Adorama, thought it was slightly used, but this thing's got some miles on it. And the spare Pro Light bulb is a 30v 250w. I can't imagine I'll ever have use for that.
Got a big shoot in Edmonton on Friday , going in cold, not sure what to expect, and darn if the hard case isn't just a wee bit too large for my luggage bag. Got an edit due Thursday, gotta put the fire to my Gfx person's feet (if she ever returns my call!), and still need to test this kit and find some large tubing for my tripod and stands. Not enough hours in the day.
