LetusExtreme for a Sony cam- Is this right?

I'm looking to get a LetusExtreme adapter bundle for my Sony HVR-V1U.

I'm a total dumbass when it comes to the 35mm adapter stuff. I know I'll need to get a stepdown ring, and whatever other adapters I might need, but aside from all that, is this the right kit for me?

There's nothing this kit is missing, right? Other than the stepdown rings or whatever, it should work well with the V1U, right?

I appreciate any help anybody can give me to confirm this!
 
Why get a PL mount unless you have PL (cinema) mounted lenses? A PL mount is 3 times the cost of a regular SLR mount like Nikon or Canon and the lenses for it can easily cost more than the camera itself.
 
Because honestly, I have no idea what a PL mount is. So I should get a bundle with an SLR mount? is the bundle otherwise fine?
 
A PL mount is for cinema lenses, and yes you should be looking for a slr mount if you have those type of lenses.
