Questions for those using the letus or any adapter for that matter --

What is your lighting set up for most indoor scenes? Specially at night time... I heard that you should use at least 2k, but what is your combo? i.e. 1K as keylight, a 500 watts for fill and another 500 watts for backlight??? Is this enough for medium to close ups?

depending on the Fstop youre setting your lens at.

if its wide open, and youre using an adapter that loses little light, that should be more than enough. but if you wanna shoot at f5.6 youre gonna need quite a bit of light.

I usually light to f2.8, I lit an indoor bedroom scene with a kino-flow, i dont know how much wattage it was but we had all the bulbs on. Then we had a 100-200 watt light for backlight.

I know! The problem is that unless you have tons of light it seems like the depth is way too shallow. It seems like not even an inch or so of in focus. I love the letus but I'm finding it to be a real challenge to keep a moving object in that sweet spot. Inanimate static shots are a piece of cake. Anything else is just tons of work.

just need a follow focus and a reliable monitor to view. i use the ifocus ( static ) with a nikon F1.4. i never raise it past two stops otherwise the grain is apparent. ( without a monitor and FF )

but even with the small lcd screen with evf detail thing on, i get sharp focus.

I've been using the evf as well. This definitely helps!!! So you're saying you're using the lcd in cam and no follow focus and getting pretty good results then? I must need lots of more practice.
