Letus35 XL best for XL series cameras?

Hi, I am looking to get a mini35 for my Canon XL2. I was wondering if anyone has experience with the XL series cameras while using mini35s. So far I have come to the conclusion that the Letus35 XL is the best bet because you need a camera lens and get a lot more light. Anyone else think different?

the Letus guys are working on a relay lens that will adapt the current Letus Extreme to fit the Canon / JVC bayonet mounts - this combination will be an improvement over the Letus35 XL - I think it's within the next couple of months.

why is so hard to take relay from FE and put it to the EX?
