1. The Letus doesn't screw on perfectly tight to be level with the DVX100b's viewfinder. Is it suppoed to be naturally loose?

2. How does the Canon fd 1.4 50mm mount click onto the adapter. I put it on, but am not able to lock it. How does it lock onto the adapter?

3. When the camera turns on, the viewfinder looks as if it is very far away. Am i supposed to zoom in on the distant viewfinder?

Can't answer all you questions, but here's what I know from my experience. .
1. Iv'e said it before and I'll say it again, you need to use rods with the letus, as well as a lens support system, it just doesn't stay secure with out it.
2. Don't know, only use Nikon lenses.
3. You need to zoom in and focus. I have mine zoomed at Z72 and my focus is between M6 and M7. But this varries on what version of the letus you have. Mine is the 35A.

Not sure what the problem is.. mine locks in fine.

There is no locking mechanism/quick release type deal like there is on canon 35mm cameras. It is just a piece of machined metal that mimics the style of the mount. On mine, i only use nikon lenses. That would be my advice when using a letus35, nikon only.

I recently got a letus35 flip. When screwed on the angle didn't match up with the
view finder. Quyen said you want to screw it on to the camera very tight and then
slowly wiggly it off then place how you want it. It felt like I was going to break the head of my cam, so I unscrewed the small screws and drilled new holes in different
spots so it would fit right. I don't know your exact set up, but send a email to
Quyen. he is very good at working with you until your happy.
