Letus35 Focus

I seem to be having issues seeing the GG in my shots with the Letus35 elite on my HVX200. Before I add my 35mm lens I focus on the GG until I get the grain in focus. I lock down that focus. Then I add my 35mm lens, turn on the Letus and shoot. I still can see the GG grain in some of my my shots.

Are there any set in stone focus settings for the Letus and the HVX200, or do they vary from camera to camera? Do you need to re focus every time you change the zoom? What am I not doing right?

What fstop are you using on your 35mm lens? If you have it stopped down too far or have too high of a shutter speed, you will see the grain from the GG.

So if I am stopped down too far or too high on the 35mm lens, can't I stop up or down on the HVX to keep the 35mm at a proper exposure? Also should I be using the built in ND filter? Do I need to re-focus on the GG everytime I change my exposure?

I don't thing you have to, once your set on the GG you tape it off, you should be fine all day.

Playing around with the exposure should have nothing to do with the GG, unless you go to high up in which case you'll start to see the GG....
