Letus35 FE framing missmatch

HI everyone:

I´ve checked all over DVXUSER but have not found the answer for this…

I just got my Letus35 FE a few days ago. I’ve got a few problems…and I’m really sorry if this has been asked before!!

First , when I screw the adapter on , till it’s fully screwed, the framing completely mismatched with the DVX, so I must zoom to Z99 in other not to get any vignette ..
If I zoom out, jut a bit, I can see the frame, because its almost diagonal….

Can some one post pictures of setups? I got the Cavision Rails but I’m not sure If I’m setting it up correctly. I don’t want to harm my camera.

I would really appreciate the help

Thanks a lot!

Mine has the same issue. Don't screw the adapter all the way in. Leave some room for it. Also, some people think is better to have Z99 simply because you don't get the vignette effect as much.

mine did the same thing, I unscrewed the little screw and used a very fine
point on a drill to make new holes for the screws that would allow it to aline right

quyen has a different way he says to do it, but i couldnt really figure it out

If you zoom in to 99 you will loose even more light so try not to do that.

Is your silver threded attachment connected to the black piece?

Mine was seperate, that's why I'm asking.

On mine you just twist until the framing is correct.

I normally zoom tp 90 to be safe - on my 50mm 85 is fine in 4:3

However my 28mm vignettes a bit so I do have to zoom in quite a bit.

PS I'm using a DVX 100A

Hope that helps

Thanks for the advise guys..

Well the silver threded attachment is not connected to de black piece in mine..

By the way...how did you guys setup the rods if you don´t twist all the way..

Do you have pictures of your setups??
Thanks to all!!
