Letus35 Extreme question

I am testing out an extreme for the first time on my HVX200a, the adaptor is amazing...

What I need to know is if there is a way to lock down the rails on the adaptor. My rods are sliding back and fourth through the brackets. Is that suppose to happen?

The set up looks identical to this photo, except there is a different lens on the camera.

Use the allen wrench that comes with it to tighten the nuts on the brackets.

I tried that and the bolts seem all the way tightened. It feels if I put anymore pressure on them they could be damaged.

But if that is the deal, I will have to get 4 new screws.

Thats pretty much it. There are two locations to lock it down - the blue plate using the wing nut and the allen screws on the black rails clamp.

I just put a bit more muscle into the bolts and the rail system is lock tight now.


FYI, This adaptor is amazing....
