Letus35 Extreme Not Aligned Properly - Defective?

I just got a new Letus35 Extreme to use with my EX1. When in place the image generated by the letus35 is lower than the zoom alignment of the camera so I have to zoom in extra far in order to get the top of the image to not show the black border. Is there a way to adjust this or did I get a bad adapter? Thanks for your help.

Rotate the adaptor from snorkle up to down (or vice-versa). If the image moves from the bottom to the top, it is the LeX. If the image does not move, it is your EX1.

Bottom line - its likely that both are out of center. Most people have to zoom in to some degree or another but if you absolutely cannot zoom to capture the GG completely, even zoomed in all the way, I would think there is something unusually off.
