Letus35.com vs. letusdirect.com / ship time?

Silly question. Whats the difference between letus35.com and letusdirect.com? Is there a difference where you place an order?

Also, has anyone ordered a letus lately? It says they are currently available. I need one by not this weekend but next and although I like the footage from the letus, it seems they have bad customer service. (I would really like to talk to someone if they ever call me back).

Also, for the HPX do you just need the 72mm ring? Thanks.

Aaron at Letus Direct usually responds the same day via email when you submit a ticket. Hien at Letus Corp. usually responds to emails quickly as well. I haven't tried calling them. If you order from Letus Direct, the order is usually drop shipped from Letus Corp. Also, B&H, Zacuto and Abel rep. Letus.

If you are shooting with an HPX170, make sure you get the Letus achromat. I believe it comes with the Ultimate and possibly the Elite, not sure about the Extreme. The 170 looks fantastic with the Ultimate, and I've heard that with the achromat, it looks very good edge to edge with the other two models.

As far as after sale support, I've been very happy with both Letus Direct and Letus Corp.

You need to call Letus from the number on the adaptorplace.com site, I usually get someone right away and their service is always very quick.

Ship time is currently 1-2 days on most items at both sites. Everything is shipped from Portland no matter which site you order from. If you are in a rush, you can contact either site for special arrangements. Always a good idea anyway to make sure everything you want is in stock. 99% of the time, it won't be a problem.
