Thanks for letting us know this Overland. Just getting taller riser plates for the front and rear would be great, then I could use all of the other Cavision stuff.

Hein, any idea what price range the rod support system will be?
I think you guys will make a killing with a Universal LEX Riser Block for other systems to utilize.

LOL, I meant you can put a 30cm rod together with 15cm rod to get 45cm using the threaded coupler.

Can I request that the plate to connect to camera (part 9) be the same width with the Manfrotto plate , so that I can also use it on my tripod. I'm not sure what are the normals? 503 ?

I know that the standard 501 plate can fit the 503, 505 , 516 or even the 519 head. So I'm not sure what are the dimensions though, I measured my plate and it seems to be the same size as the first picture

I ordered my extreme on Oct 27th...will the support system be available before units ordered around this time ship ? This way that would be great to put everything in the same package

As DeGrey keeps telling us n LetusDirect: all new orders will ship with the support for freeee. (no idea how long this offer lasts) They usually ship in 4/5 weeks. I ordered okt 16 and was told they ship mine this week or beginning next week.

So they should arrive at the same time as my redrock FF

As for the support: I really like the baseplate #3 and ... I WANT ONE!

This is my only point of critisism of the CineVate rail: the baseplate connection is just two screws that have to deal with a lot weight depending on your config offcourse.

(personal view/ review coming up when my LEX comes in next weeek)

the $50 rail support BRACKET will ship free, not the rail SYSTEM- which is new and currently under development

Hien posted that the bracket will only be free for 2 weeks. Which was already over sometime ago. You pay $50 if you order the bracket now.
