Letus relay with SGBlade?

Hi, having just purchased the blade, I'm desperate to get the beast on the front of my digibeta and f900r. Has anybody tried the blade with the Letus relay? I'm trying to find somebody in the UK who actually stocks it so I cam try it, but this is proving problomatic. I have a drama shoot in a couple of weeks and would like to use it so time is of the essence. Anybody with a relay who
wants to get together or if you have tried it and have some info then do get in touch.

Hi, could you add the link to Philip Blooms issue with the Letus/Blade hybrid. I can't seem to find it. I know others are looking to do a similar test, so would save alot of hassle if in fact Mr Bloom has already tried and failed.

You could check out Cinevate's relay and ask Dennis Wood if it would work. Theirs is not on the market yet though.

I have looked at cinevates, but it seems quite long. The letus is about 5cm in length and i'm trying to keep the length down as once I put a superspeed or s4 on there it's well over the length of a pro35 which I'm used to shooting with .....
 
I don't have a link, just remember hearing from Phil at one point. I think the problem wasn't neccessarily optical, it was that the method of physically coupling the 2 units didn't match up.
 
We have had an email from a Letus Relay user who wants to test this with the SGblade. They are coming to our workshop next week to see if the combo works, optically.

MotionFX sell their GG.relay which has already been tested with the SGblade on a Viper.
 
And after I had the time to fully test GG.relay rev3 in both S35 and FF35 I have schedule a demo unit send to Lenny by the end of October when the first batch is coming out of the Fab...

Also I have put in line the first few orders one of them is Cbalbert he will receive the FF35 at the end of October also.

This is the FF35 setup thats why is long, in S35 setup which is the appropriate for S4 and SSpeeds, is about 5cm long... the relay can be switched in both setups.

If you want to order one, to get it delivered in few weeks, the window of opportunity is open until the end of the next week...

Hi Evangelos, I am interested in your GG Relay. I pm'd you a few weeks ago but heard nothing so I was looking at the Letus instead.
Have you a demo unit coming to the UK? I also have this small
drama that I'm hoping to shoot with the blade on digibeta, but we prep and shoot first week in October. Any chance of a relay before then?

I knew it... I received your email, and of coarse I replied back with all the details, but after a while I received this...

"Warning: message still undelivered after 12 hours Will keep trying until message is 3 days old"

Since I had only your reply email, I couldn't do anything, so I resend it and the same it bounce back...

Early October... nope I will have pieces in my hands by the end of October first days of November...

Sounds very exciting Evangelos. I am back in shape after an illness and finally just got to test my Blade and it looks very good so the combination sounds very promising - something many of us have been hoping for for a long time.
